Grocery Bargain Shopping
Alrighty, I have finally found a local grocery store that's pretty cheap in prices yet decent in its quality or products that they carry. My husband and I have been shopping at the regular grocery stores like: Raley's, Bel-Air, Safeway for quite a while but none of them can beat my brand-new favorite grocer! WINCO WhooHoo! Thanks to a good friend of ours and his dad for introducing the store to me.
My mum-in-law and I went out to do some stocking up of our fridge and pantry to get ready for the big "delivery" date. We bought a cart load of groceries and a lot of items from the bulk bins and it only came up to $100!! I cannot recall the last time I spent $100 at the other 3 stores that resulted in really a cart full of groceries!!
So even though its a 10 minute drive for us instead of the regular 5 minute to the nearby grocery store, I think the savings is well worth it!! Now I just have to convince my husband that its a good place to shop too!!
