Good Friends Are Hard To Come By
This past week, Chhimi and I went over to our friend's house for a small get-together BBQ. We don't see each other often enough and this is the 1st time we've gotten together with spouses since May!
It was just a very relaxing Saturday with a few guys doing the BBQ and the girls catching up and gossiping around. Relaxed is the term I will use here and I realized that these are very special friends to me because when I step into each of their homes, I recall feeling at ease and relaxed. I didn't feel like I have to put on my "happy face" just because...but I was being my quarky self.
Friends like these are hard to come by and I'm grateful that I have them as friends and for them to open up their homes and lives to Chhimi and me.
