Comical Phone Call

Setting:
Tabitha sitting in her office, busily working away...when all of a sudden, her cell phone rings.

(Ring, Ring), she wonders who could be calling on her cell phone in the middle of a work day. A list of people came to mind as Tabitha quickly reaches her cell phone from her bag.

(Ring, Ring), the number doesn't look recognizable.

Tabitha answers "Hello?"

Voice says "This is [ABC]* Groomery."

Tabitha in a confused state of mind says "Yes?"

Voice cheerily says "Molly's all ready!"

Tabitha searches through her brain..."who the heck is Molly?".....think think...that lady says "Groomery"....finally logic connects, Tabitha replies "Eh, you've reached the wrong number?"

Voice says in a surprised manner "Oh...sorry about that" (Click).

I finally broke into a little giggle as I thought about the odd-ball situation. What if I didn't have a pet but a daughter named Molly? That would be one confused parent. What is she saying about my daughter?

What if I had a pet that was no longer with me, named Molly? That would be ONE shocker! What would Molly be ready for?....after-life?!

Sigh! The little comical bleeps in life. Taking it one laughter at a time.
